Whether you're just starting out or looking to take your career to the next level, this panel will provide valuable insights, guidance and advice on getting ahead. EventFirstSteps

At Event First Steps, our focus is always on the next generation of event professionals entering the industry - and the one objective that underpins all our content is to help bring people in and up. By doing this, we create opportunities and strengthen the knowledge and talent of the industry as a whole. The key areas that we work for change within are:

Routes to industry
Better harmony between academia and industry will allow for graduates with more understanding and skills, and an industry with a stronger entry level workforce.

Visibility of entire industry
A bigger understanding of the many job options available will allow an events career to be taken more ‘seriously’ - and widen the talent pool.

Diversity of industry
From the top down, our sector is represented by a small group so wildly different from the vibrant workforce that they are lobbying for.
