LEAD THE CONVERSATION. EMPOWER THE INDUSTRY. SHARE YOUR EXPERTISE AT THE MEETINGS SHOW.

The Meetings Show is curating an education programme packed with practical tools, future-focused ideas, and inspiration to help event professionals thrive in a fast-changing world. And that's where YOU come in!

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Our hosted buyers and visitors are navigating one of the most transformative periods the meetings and events industry has ever seen, and they’ve told us exactly what their biggest challenges are:

  • Budgets are tighter than ever, with teams expected to deliver more creativity, innovation, and results with fewer resources.

  • AI and emerging technologies are evolving rapidly, bringing both opportunity and pressure to understand what really works.

  • Wellbeing and balance are increasingly vital for both event professionals managing high-pressure roles and the delegates they serve.

  • Proving the value of meetings and events remains a top priority, showing measurable ROI, business impact, and purpose.

We want to ensure that our sessions tackle these issues head-on, so you'll need to be an expert at delivering practical insights, offering future-focused ideas, and providing tools attendees can apply immediately to strengthen their businesses and careers.

We want sessions that:

  • Show how to deliver exceptional results on reduced budgets

  • Demystify AI, automation, and emerging technologies for real-world use

  • Share proven strategies for embedding wellbeing into events, workplaces, and leadership

  • Provide tangible ways to measure, communicate, and elevate the value of meetings and events

  • Build professional skills that help event professionals adapt, grow, and lead confidently

We’re especially interested in speakers and content providers who bring:

  • Real-world experience and measurable outcomes, not just theory

  • A reputation for innovation, creativity, and credibility

  • A collaborative, audience-first approach: engaging, interactive, and insight-driven

  • Fresh perspectives from both inside and outside the events industry

NEW FOR 2027: Innovation & New Solutions: Show us what's next

Have you developed something new, tested an emerging technology, introduced a different way of working or discovered a solution that delivers measurable value? We want to hear about it.

Innovation isn't confined to one theme. We're keen to discover new products, technologies, services, methodologies and business models that could help buyers solve real problems and improve event outcomes. Early-stage innovations are welcome where their development and testing status is made clear. We're interested in genuine discovery, not product pitches.

Submitting an innovation-led session? Please select the Innovation & New Solutions tag in addition to your primary content theme. Explain what makes it different, which buyer challenge it addresses and what evidence you have from testing, implementation or first-hand experience.

NEW FOR 2027 - One education programme. Different ways to experience it.

The Meetings Show Mainstage Series - On Stage One or Stage Two

The Meetings Show Mainstage Series - On Stage One or Stage Two

Have a big idea? Bring it to the stage.

The Mainstage Series is where the industry comes together to explore ideas, challenge conventional thinking and share perspectives that matter. We welcome compelling presentations, lively panel discussions, provocative debates, inspiring stories and interactive sessions that engage the audience and offer fresh insight into the world of business events.

We're looking for relevant, original and thought-provoking content that informs, inspires, challenges or sparks a conversation. Whether you're exploring an emerging trend, sharing a new perspective or tackling a challenge facing the industry, tell us what your audience will gain from your session.

The Blank Canvas

The Blank Canvas

Have an idea that doesn't fit the mould? This is your space.

The Blank Canvas is an opportunity to rethink how learning happens. We welcome creative concepts, experimental formats, unexpected collaborations and unconventional approaches that bring content to life in new ways.

Perhaps your idea is immersive, experiential, highly interactive, creatively facilitated or something we've not seen before. If it challenges the traditional session format, invites audiences to participate differently or offers a fresh way to explore a subject, we want to hear about it.

Tell us what you have in mind, how it will work and why it will create a valuable experience for attendees. There are no prescribed formats here,  just an opportunity to do something different.

MESA Deep Dives

MESA Deep Dives

Where the conversation gets real.

Have a subject that deserves more than a presentation? Let's go deeper.

MESA Deep Dives offer a more intimate, facilitated environment for exploring the issues, ideas and challenges facing the meetings and events industry. These discussion-led sessions move beyond delivering information to encourage participants to question assumptions, share experiences, challenge perspectives and explore practical implications.

We're looking for strong topics, clear questions and ideas that benefit from collective exploration. Contributions might build on a wider industry conversation, examine a complex challenge or invite participants to consider what an idea means in practice.

Think facilitated discussions, curated campfire conversations and purposeful exchanges rather than traditional presentations. The aim is to leave participants with new perspectives, deeper understanding and ideas they can take back to their work.

MIA Skills Lab

MIA Skills Lab

Try it. Test it. Take it away.

Have a skill, technique or approach people can learn by doing?

The MIA Skills Lab is dedicated to practical, participative learning. These sessions give attendees the opportunity to develop skills, test ideas, practise techniques and explore approaches they can apply in their own work.

We welcome interactive workshops, demonstrations, practical masterclasses, guided exercises, small-group problem-solving and experiential learning. The emphasis is on participation rather than passive listening, with attendees leaving having learned, practised or created something of value.

Tell us what participants will do, what they will learn and what they will be able to take away and apply.

The beam Hub

The beam Hub

Connect the community. Capture the conversation.

Have a perspective, a story or a conversation the industry needs to hear?

The beam Hub brings people and ideas together through live interviews, podcast-style conversations, informal discussions and opportunities to connect with the wider business events community.

We're interested in compelling voices, fresh perspectives, relevant industry stories and conversations that explore the issues shaping our sector. Contributions might take the form of a live podcast or interview, a short conversation with an industry guest or a collaborative discussion that brings different voices into the spotlight.

Think engaging, conversational and accessible rather than a formal presentation. Tell us what you want to explore, who needs to be part of the conversation and why it will resonate with the industry.

A note on session placement

A note on session placement

You can indicate your preferred stage or format when submitting your proposal. You may also identify alternative formats if you feel your idea could work in more than one environment.

All submissions will be reviewed as part of one integrated education programme. The TMS Knowledge Director, supported by the Education Advisory Board, will lead the curation process and determine the final programme and session placements, based on quality, relevance, audience value and the best environment for each contribution.

Not every great idea needs a stage. But every great idea deserves the right environment.
