FAM TRIPS

The Meetings Show offers exhibiting destination and hotel partners the opportunity to host a select group of buyers on post-show fam trips. It is a great way of showcasing your destination and venues to meetings and events professionals and further engaging with our audience of pre-qualified UK and international hosted buyers.

Previous fam trip destinations have included Aberdeen, Bristol, Brighton and Paris

There are 2 formats available:

Open fam trip    

The tour host will put together a post-event tour itinerary to be hosted on The Meetings Show website. This would also be built into the application process for all hosted buyers (although you can specify whether you would prefer UK or overseas buyers). When registering to attend The Meetings Show, buyers will express their interest in any fam trips. The tour host would then receive the details of any interested buyers, along with any relevant supporting information and would select the final group from among the applicants. 

Closed fam trip

This would be for a select group of buyers that the tour host has recruited into the hosted buyer programme. The host would identify the buyers in advance, invite them to apply for the hosted buyer programme and then host them on a post-event tour.
