Tate Modern has some of the most unqiue and inconic spaces to host large events in London. The former power station now modern art gallery has the both the Turbine Hall and The Tanks previously part of the gallery's industrial past converted into event and live art spaces.
The Turbine Hall is a vast venue and has original features of the building's industrial past. It spans an impressive 155m in length and 35m in height and can host up to 700 guests seated and 1200 guests standing.
The Tanks, are the power stations two former oil tanks that have be excavated, restored and transformed into one-of-a-kind event spaces. They have a raw industrial charm and provide a dramatic blank canvas backdrop to an event. They lend themseleves to a variety of events including award ceremonies, prestigious dinners, receptions and grand galas. They can host 400 guests seated and up to 600 standing in each tank. The Tanks Foyer provides a great pre-dinner reception spaces allowing for largescale events.
