EVENTWELL WELLBEING HUB
#TakeTheTime to relax and refresh your mind, or simply take a break from the hustle and bustle of the show floor. The EventWell team are on hand to support The Meetings Show attendees by offering a safe space and special assistance to help you navigate the event, if you need it. EventWell hosts are mental health and neurodiversity trained.
Quiet Room
This is a quiet space providing sanctuary and a sensory environment where you can retreat should you feel overwhelmed or overloaded by your surroundings. Here, you'll have access to the time and space you need to calm and regulate your sensory and nervous systems, to decompress and find respite.
You will find at your disposal, noise cancelling headsets, fidgets, weighted blankets, meditation headsets, colouring tools, puzzles, books and magazines and a cosy space to take a 10 minute brain-break. You’ll also find an EventWell Host on hand to make you feel welcome and offer support should you need it.
Wellbeing Bar
To complement the quiet room, The Meetings Show Wellbeing Bar will offer a wide range of decaffeinated coffees and herbal teas, with infused water and fresh fruit bowls, as well as the following wellbeing sessions and activities to boost your performance, productivity, and alleviate any mental and physical fatigue:
Wednesday 19 June
- 10 am - Breathwork to prepare for a busy day (20 minute session)
- 12 pm - Stretching with Chair Yoga
- 2 pm - Progressive Muscle Relaxation
- 4 pm - Breathwork to Combat Fatigue
Thursday 20 June
- 10 am - Breathwork to prepare for a busy day (20 minute session)
- 12 pm - Stretching with Chair Yoga
EventWell Buddy
New for this year's The Meetings Show, our EventWell® Buddies will be on hand to help you navigate the venue and event, providing information on the layout, facilities, and key areas - like keynote stages, the quiet room, accessible toilets and more.
You’ll find them located at the entrance to The Meetings Show. You can let us know in advance of the show that you would like buddy assistance by contacting EventWell via support@eventwell.org or by calling 0800 470 0958.
Information Point
Located at the Wellbeing Hub, next to the bar, you’ll find the EventWell information point where you can come and ask your questions about everything mental wellbeing, neuroinclusion and the services offered by the EventWell team and their accessibility and inclusion specialist partners.
