Rosebank is the much-anticipated revival of an historic ghost distillery. Located in Falkirk and founded in 1840, its name originated after the roses which grew along the banks of the nearby Forth & Clyde canal.

Rosebank was famed for producing a whisky, so light and floral, revered the world over and described as “The finest example of a Lowland malt…”.    Sadly, with rising costs, the distillery fell on hard times towards the end of the twentieth century before finally closing its gates in the late nineties.

Rosebank lay empty until it was acquired by Ian Macleod Distillers in 2017.  Since then, the crumbling distillery has been magnificently rebuilt and now presents a world-class whisky experience.  We offer luxurious tasting rooms and the opportunity to sample rare and highly sought after Rosebank Single Malt Whisky.

Your guests will hear the story of Rosebank brought to life in the original distillery buildings. Take a private guided tour of the working still house. See the unique whisky production techniques for which Rosebank is famed and breathe in the history of aged casks laid down in a warehouse over thirty years ago.
