On ABPCO membership…
Our membership spans everyone from event management students starting their careers through to highly experienced event professionals.

We have different membership grades depending on your role and experience, and all applications are reviewed by our Accreditation Committee. We also welcome venues, suppliers and service providers as industry members and partners. We bring the whole community together.

On how ABPCO supports its members…

We’re currently expanding our CPD programme, with live events, training, webinars, roundtables and online resources designed specifically for association event professionals. Upcoming topics include understanding event contracts, running better exhibitions, effective event marketing and delivering events outside the UK. Everything we offer is either free or heavily discounted to members.  

We also have Member Groups dedicated to specific areas of interest, like event marketing, sustainability and neuro-inclusion, as well as networking groups for in-house event professionals, agency event professionals and venues.

There are all sorts of other things we offer our members too – including a forum, a tender portal and our new Knowledge Hub which goes live shortly – a one-stop-shop of peer reviewed tools, templates and resources to support event professionals.

How is ABPCO different to other membership organisations?

Because we focus exclusively on association and not-for-profit event professionals, we’re able to support a highly specialist community with tailored learning, resources and networking opportunities.

The sense of community and collaboration in the ABPCO membership is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. Our members face many of the same challenges, making it a trusted environment to exchange ideas, seek advice and learn from peers.
