THE MEETINGS SHOW TO KEEP INDUSTRY CONNECTED

THE MEETINGS SHOW TO KEEP INDUSTRY CONNECTED
The Meetings Show team is developing an exciting hybrid event to keep business meetings and events professionals connected and informed, wherever they are in the world.

To ensure all members of the meetings and events community can meet, and to help stimulate and support the recovery of our sector, The Meetings Show will be adding a virtual element to enhance this year's live show, which takes place at Olympia London on Monday 19 and Tuesday 20 October 2020.

Using a hybrid model will enable those who are unable to physically attend the live event at Olympia London, to access some of the show's renowned educational and business opportunities, as well as network with their peers.

The Meetings Show Event Director Jack Marczewski, said: “The Meetings Show is continually evolving and the team is always exploring ways to keep the industry connected, so making this year's event hybrid feels like the right step to make.

"While we develop virtual elements to this year's show, we are also working with Olympia London and industry associations to ensure the correct measures are put in place to protect visitors and exhibitors coming to the venue itself. As the UK lockdown eases, we are continuing to follow the latest government advice and the health and safety of everyone visiting the show remains our top priority.

"Ultimately, marrying live and virtual elements will allow visitors, wherever they may be in the world, to access our dynamic education programme, network and meet exhibitors. We’re looking forward to sharing further updates over the coming weeks."
