Our vision is to celebrate the art of the past and present in its complexity and diversity, supporting its artistic risk taking and scholarship. We wish to share this vision with all our audiences. We believe access to art is a right and we see our galleries as places of creative learning. We want to champion the importance of art and encourage everyone to achieve their own creative potential.
Our first gallery was Tate Britain; built in 1897 and this has grown to the Tate Modern, Tate Liverpool and finally Tate St. Ives. We offer an array of spaces. Whether it be for receptions or dinners for 10 up to receptions for 1200. We have two refurbished autoriums as well as connferencing spaces flooded with natural light and flexible layout options. More of the gallery is accessible in the evening, with stunning views over the river Thames from our terraces at Tate Modern and our stunning Gallery 9 at Tate Britain. In addition, we have large spaces for showstopping galas and events from the Turbine Hall at Tate Modern to the Duveens galleries at Tate Britain (limited dates apply). Both offer daytime build options to achieve your event vision.
And no event would be complete without adding a tour of the gallery, whether your taste be pop art or impressionism we have something to suit all tates.
