The Octagon Centre

The Octagon Centre is the University of Sheffield’s largest venue, offering superb flexibility that can be used for a wide variety of events.

From music concerts to conferences and exhibitions, the Octagon Sheffield offers versatile configurations, including 1,230 fully seated, 1,800 for live music standing, or 870 sqm of clear floor space. With its remarkable flexibility and various setup options, the Octagon Sheffield can accommodate a wide range of events to meet every need.

The Octagon Sheffield is a versatile venue that hosts a wide array of events, including conferences, exhibitions, large-scale live music gigs, sports events, and comedy shows. Complementing the main space, the Sheffield Octagon Centre features five ancillary rooms under one roof, available for breakout sessions and meetings, accommodating between 12 and 80 people.

With modular staging systems and a comprehensive technical infrastructure that includes an L’Acoustics PA system, along with first-class support from our in-house event and production teams, the Octagon Sheffield is fully equipped to ensure your event’s success.
