Described as a “shrine to rock and roll” by legendary rock impresario Harvey Goldsmith the venues ethos is ‘the show must go on’! The City Hall delivers over 500 business and entertainment events each year and has earned an award-winning reputation for hosting some of the country’s most esteemed business and conferencing events.

Since Queen Elizabeth II opened the Utilita Arena Sheffield in 1991, a rich variety of events that have become enshrined in the venue’s DNA has become unrivalled. In our 34 year history, we have welcomed music, sport, theatre and comedy royalty including Oasis, Tina Turner, Whitney Houston, Def Leppard, Arctic Monkeys, Bryan Adams, Take That, Peter Kay, Disney on Ice and Kylie to name but a few.
