A decade ago, Century City Conference Centre and Hotels set out to redefine business events in Africa - combining world-class infrastructure with genuine, human-centred hospitality. Today, that proven model enters a new phase with the launch of African Rain Collection, a portfolio brand expanding this success across multiple destinations.

Building on this success, African Rain Collection introduces its next landmark development: Waterfall City Conference Centre and Hotel.

Positioned within one of South Africa’s most dynamic mixed-use precincts, between Johannesburg and Pretoria, the R750 million development signals a strategic expansion into Gauteng’s economic hub.

Opening in January 2028, the venue will feature 16 flexible meetings spaces, a 1,350-seat plenary hall, exhibition spaces and accommodation for large-scale conferences: all designed with operational flow, advanced technology, and seamless guest experiences in mind.

Importantly, it will be operated by the same team behind the Cape Town success, ensuring continuity of service and standards.
