Helen Moon
Helen Moon is a pioneering event professional and the Founder and Chief Executive of EventWell, an award-winning not-for-profit and charitable social enterprise dedicated to neuroinclusion and mental wellbeing in events. With nearly 30 years of experience in event operations, business development, and event marketing, she has worked across hotels, venues, as a freelance event and operations manager, and a supplier.
As a neurodivergent leader with AuDHD and Dyslexia, Helen is deeply passionate about driving change in the events industry to create truly inclusive and accessible spaces. She founded EventWell in 2017 with the mission to ensure that neurodivergent and mental wellbeing-friendly event spaces are a standard, not an afterthought.
Beyond her extensive events expertise, Helen is a qualified stress management and relaxation therapist and holds a Level 5 Diploma in Stress Management, QLS Level 4 Diploma in Psychology, alongside ongoing studies in Child, Social, and Behavioural Psychology, Neurodiversity and Safeguarding. She is also the current Chair of the Event Industry Alliance cross association DEI Working Group, and a dedicated advocate, thought leader, and educator in the neurodiversity and wellbeing space, using both her lived experience and professional knowledge to shape a more inclusive future for the industry.
