Admission Policy

  • The Meetings Show is a free, trade-only event for meetings, events and incentives professionals.

  • Visitors who pre-register and/or attend should be involved in or have some connection in the meetings industry/MICE or associated industries.

  • As this is a trade-only event, persons under the age of 16 will not be admitted to the show. Students on meetings/MICE-related courses that are accompanied by college tutors or lecturers and have pre-registered can attend the live show.

  • Visitors agreeing to have their badge scanned by exhibitors or in conference sessions agree to receive communications from these exhibitors. Visitors attending a virtual sponsored session agree to receive communication from those sponsors. 

  • By attending, visitors agree not to take part in any canvassing or leafleting. Failure to adhere to this could result in being asked to leave the show.

  • Current Meetings and MICE press can apply for a press badge. This will be issued once the application is verified. The Organisers reserve the right to determine who is issued with a press badge.

  • Official show photographers will be taking photographs at The Meetings Show. The Organisers shall be entitled to use such photographs, which may include photographs of visitors, for marketing.

  • Official show videographers will be filming at The Meetings Show. The Organisers shall be entitled to use all video content, which may include footage of visitors, for marketing purposes.

  • The Organisers reserve the right to refuse admission, exclude or remove anyone from The Meetings Show.

  • By registering to attend The Meetings Show, you are agreeing to the policy as laid out above.

As an event, we take the safety of our attendees seriously and with regards to Covid-19 we will work closely with the venue to ensure adequate measures are in place in order to follow Government guidelines. However, closer to the event the Organisers may decide to include other criteria for the safety of visitors and exhibitors, and if this is the case, we will communicate this to registrants in advance. 

It is important that all attendees take proper precautions regarding Covid-19 and follow Government guidelines about symptoms before looking to attend in person. At the event, it is important that everyone takes responsibility for themselves, ensuring they keep physical contact to a minimum (shaking hands is no longer mandatory!), being mindful of other attendees and adhering to a strict hygiene regime.

To ensure the continued safety of attendees, exhibitors and staff, upon arrival, attendees must demonstrate their COVID status in the form of ONE of the following:

  • A negative lateral flow test taken within 48 hours of the event, demonstrated via your NHS COVID Pass on the NHS App or equivalent.

  • Full vaccination (first and second dose), and with the second dose administered at least 14 days before the event, demonstrated via your NHS COVID pass on the NHS App or equivalent.

The wearing of face coverings at The Meetings Show is optional while moving around the venue.
